Is it really free?
Yes. The free tier is permanent. Exports carry a small CapStudio watermark, which Pro removes.
Does my video get uploaded?
No. Transcription and export run entirely in your browser. Your footage never leaves your device.
Which browsers work?
Chrome and Edge are best (WebGPU acceleration). Firefox works but is slower, and there is no mobile support yet.
What languages does it support?
Around 99, via Whisper. Pick your language in the editor for the best accuracy, or use auto-detect. Pro runs a larger, more accurate model.
What is the watermark?
A small CapStudio mark in the corner of free exports. Upgrading to Pro removes it.
